Welcome to the NC Demo November Blog Hop-
This month's blog hop is all about Christmas. I almost forgot about it and when I started taking photos of my card I realized the light was not the best (I don't know about you but the time change has me at loose ends sometimes. Our sweet dog Sadie wants to go on her afternoon walk an hour early and she is as confused as we are. :) I did get a few photos that came out pretty good. I feel natural light is best when taking photos.
Here is my project for this month. Painted Harvest Christmas card. Don't you love it when you can use a stamp set for more than one occasion? You feel like you get your money's worth. I have seen a few Christmas cards as well as an adorable hedgehog card using that sunflower stamp. So I had to give it a try.
Sometimes you don't have everything you need in one stamp set so the good part about being a Stampin' UP! demonstrator is you probably have different sets that you can use.
For instance the Painted Harvest part was only the wreath, I used Tags and Trimmings for the berries.
I needed a Merry Christmas and I liked the one in Merry Cafe because it seemed to fit my card and images.
I started out just using whisper white card stock and thought the Hardwood stamp set would look like a wall for a wreath so I used that and at first I used crumb cake and it was to dark so I ended up using Sahara Sand and I liked that look most. (I forgot to add that below) :(
