NC DEMO BLOG HOP

I am privileged to be able to blog hop with some awesome North Carolina Demos!  Our group will using Sale-a-bration sets.

I choose to use the adorable Honeycomb Happiness set.  Such cuteness.   I used the paper piecing technique to create this little chick, you stamp the image on Whisper White and then again on Daffodil Delight and cut out the Daffodil Delight chick and mount on top so you don't have to cut those tiny little feet, they show through underneath.  I love this technique. I used it with several cards I have made recently. This is one of the cards we will be making in my 1st Thursday card class at Rockridge Clubhouse at 10am this coming week 2/4/16. Sale a Bration ~ Come on and have a good time.

This is a card we made recently with my stamp club, we could make it at your party too! The sweet paper (Wildflower Fields designer paper) #141022 was FREE from the SAB catalog.  The flower is from another one of my favorite Big Shot dies: Botanical Builder Framelits Dies #140625

 I love the new Party Pop-Up Thinlits Dies #140620 on the inside of the card.

Every time I say Sale a Bration each year  during SAB, I want to dance to that song "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang from the 1980's spelled different of course. Are you dancing yet?  So as I am writing this blog post I am listening to it on my computer and bopping around in my chair. Great visual right. Sooooooooooo what are you waiting for, Celebrate with me and have a SAB party in February.  I may even download the Celebration Song and play it while we stamp.

Swap Card/ Club Card

Last month I was in a demonstrator card swap and received 19 beautiful samples of cards from the new catalog. I love to get new ideas in my hands to share with my friends/customers/club members. Here is the card I made for the swap and my stamp club made it today and they loved it.

Desk Calendar Card

 I love to make projects that you can use besides just a card.  This is a sweet blend between a new Occasions Catalog Stamp Going Global set and SAB Sky is the limit stamp set.  I love the colors and hope you do too.

Stamp sets: Going Global & Sky is the Limit & Day to Day PL Set

Cardstock: Smoky Slate, Basic Black, (DSP- Go Wild & Wildflower Fields SAB) 

Ink Pads: Lost Lagoon, Basic Black

Punches: 2” Circle Punch

Accessories: Bone Folder, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine (retired)

Directions:

1.     Cut  Smoky Slate cardstock 4 ¼” x 11” for the base of the card fold in half

2.     Cut folded inside piece of cardstock 4 ¼”“ X 4”. Score at 1/2", 2" and 3 1/2" on the short side. Fold it so that the larger peak points up as do the ends and adhere inside the card.

3.     Stamp background and globe and add year. Stamp plane from the SAB FREE set from SKy is the Limit and cut and use dimensionals to adhere.

4.     Depending on your calendar size cut Basic Black ¼ inch larger all the way around and layer  calendar and strips of designer paper and twine
