Recently I started volunteering at the Women Refuge Resale Store. (Women's Refuge of Vero Beach)
The Women's Refuge provides a Christ-Centered residential program and community counseling center for people who are serious about getting well.  I felt it was a great cause and wanted to help out.

While there I found these cute hand towels!

When I saw these I knew I had to have them because my sister Carol and Elizabeth my son's girlfriend both raise chickens and I knew they would love these towels.

 I wrapped them in dress patterns!  I love the look.  A friend of mine received a present wrapped in patterned tissue paper and I loved the idea so much I started looking at yard sales for old unused, uncut patterns and this is a flashback of dress styles from ummm I am not sure maybe the 1960's. 

 This is the package when I finished. 

I added this little card, for the chick I punched out from the bird punch and then slipped the punched piece in again and cut the back end of the chick to look more like a chick than a bird.

I hope you liked my fun present as much as Carol & Elizabeth did.

Hot Diggity Dog -Another Double Slider Card - Update on Butterfly Basic Bundle

 Hot Diggity Dog - I recently bought this cute dog set and today at stamp club we made these slider cards.  I love the name of the card and the images are so cute.   Yes I am on a roll for the slider card technique (thanks Julie Davidson for your video on youtube).  It always gets an ooooh and aaaah when they see it and after they make it and realize how fun it is to make and to give.  My stamp club made this card today and loved it.

UPDATE on Butterfly Basics

Stampin' UP!  hoped that the Butterflies Thinlits Dies would arrive in time for Sale-A-Bration, and when that didn't happen, again like you, we hoped they would be here in time for our Free Shipping promotion. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case.


Originally they were scheduled to arrive by April 8; we then received notification from our supplier that although the ship had reached the west coast port, the container containing the Thinlits was still on the ship. We have since received verification from a third party that the vessel is still in the port--and though it docked on Friday, April 3, the container with the Thinlits has yet to be pulled.

Because the container has yet to be discharged from the vessel, the soonest the Butterflies Thinlits will arrive in our warehouse is the beginning of the week of April 13; our best estimate for orderability, based on this information, is April 15.

We realize you and your customers may be disappointed you were not able to purchase the Thinlits in time to receive Sale-A-Bration rewards--especially in the discounted bundles.
