LET'S SALE-A-BRATE ~ January 28 - March 31, 2014

It’s almost time to Sale-a-Brate!!!  Each year Stampin’ UP! has a promotion in Jan, Feb, and Mar called SALE-A-BRATION or we demonstrators call it SAB for short.  What does this mean!!!  From 1/28/14 – 3/31/14 when you order $50.00 from either the annual Stampin’ UP! catalog or the Spring Occasions catalog or combination of the two, you can choose a product FREE  from the SAB catalog. I can’t put it on line till midnight 1/28/14 but will have a pdf for you to view or can send you one if you are interested.  You can choose from stamp sets, designer 12x12 paper, embossing folders, card kits, banner punch, treat bag kits, banner kit and two digital ensembles.  I love everything in the sab catalog and have sent your samples recently using those products that I was able to earn early as a demonstrator.  One of the great perks we receive.

I saw this card on Patty Bennett's site and tweeked it with products I had on hand, I used the cupcake punch for my clouds and my buttons are retired but this was a special card I sent this past week.

Weekly Deals Jan 21-27

This week I have seriously started organizing my stamp room/quest room.  You won't believe it but I threw away 15 years of old Stampin' UP! Catalogs.  I can't remember the last time I looked at them and they were just taking up valuable space in my room.  I have to admit it was hard to do.  I did rip off the cover in case I want to frame them for wall art someday  but that first rip was torture.  So tomorrow it is suppose to be cold and I am in for the day just putting like things together and finding new homes for "stuff"  we all have that "stuff" don't we? 

I want to create a picture taking spot so I won't have to go downstairs to take pictures.  Lighting is my problem we will see how it works.

Class this weekend at the Salvation Army Crop

This weekend I attended the Salvation Army Scrapbook Crop where I offered a birthday card class and we had so much fun.   Below is Kelly, Bonnie and Deb making 3 cards and a gift box to store them in.  What a neat present for someone.

 Below are the projects we made except for the tag on the box we added a spiral flower from the new die from the Occasions catalog.  Some of the ideas are cased (copy and share everything) and some are modified.

Happy Birthday

Happy Watercolor- yes I am stuck on that set.  I love the soft colors.  My husband said the colors looked beachy to him.  :)  This card is a partial case, the colors on the side was the part I got from Mary Brown and then I added the tag.  Don't forget to stamp your envelopes...........
