Reason to Smile Class


When  Stampin' Up! announced the July  Reason to Smile promotion, I decided to offer a "free" class to those that bought the special.  Tonight we had the class and what a fun bunch of girls.  Mostly my stamp club that meets each month.  We laugh and they help each other and they work so well together.  I love those girls.   

Above are all three projects, a regular sized card, a 3x3 card and a cute lunch bag with Floral District dsp paper and we used the Labels Framelits to cut the bag top and the dsp paper.

Triple Stamping

This is a card similar to the card I taught my stamp club last week. They seemed to really like it. So easy and so fun.


You have heard the saying that in stamping there is no mistakes only opportunities to embellish.  Well I made a smudge on the smaller part of the card so I stamped it on a separate piece of whisper white cardstock and punched it out with the small oval punch and behind it I used the Ticket Duo Punch and it was too long so look below and see that I punched it again and slipped the cardstock over. So you can use it for the small oval.  I love that I saved the sample and did not have to remake it for this post.

Sassy Stampers Meetup Group-Stampin Bunco

What a fun night we had Tuesday night at Aversboro Coffee Shop.  My friend Karel and I have started a Meet UP group called Sassy Stampers and we meet at the coffee shop a few times a month to find new friends to stamp with.  Last night we played bunco and made this cute card.  The prizes from the game come from the Stampin' UP! catalog.  So email me to join us next month or join our Sassy Stampers Meet UP Group.

 Framed Stampin' UP! Logo

This was a fun project that I saw on pinterest and thought I would give it a try.  I used the Stampin' UP! logo that Stampin' UP! demonstrators can purchase for their business.  I took the framed picture out and added our Patio Party designer paper 126916 and punched a few flowers from the blossom punch 125603 and slipped it behind the glass.  I attached the vinyl Stampin' UP! logo on front and attached  some buttons from Stampin' UP! using glue dots. 

I think I placed the logo a little high but it works with the flowers at the bottom.  Thanks for stopping by.

On another note here for those that have other vinyl products you could jazz it up with our beautiful designer paper for your background and add a few flowers.

Sneek Peak- Sensational Season - Holiday Catalog

What a weekend, I spent most of it refinishing my dinning room table with a friend. Today I got some time in my stamp room and decided it was time to play with my new bundle from Stampin' UP! I love gingerbread men, I always think of Christmas when I see gingerbread men and I love the brown and reds. 

For this card I wasn't sure which brown I liked the best so I started out stamping the gingerbread man in all of our browns and decided that soft suede looked best and I was surprised, I stamped it on crumb cake. Love the way it turned out, I added that little heart that works so well from the owl punch. I also tore the top edge of the real red cardstock.
