Trash to Treasure

One person's trash is another person's treasure..................this make over of my stamp room or really addition to... started when I saw the stamp room make over in the Stampin Success magazine that we demonstrators get each month. I saw a really cute drop leaf table in it and I fell in love with it.  

When I went to Leadership in January they showed the video and I was so hooked.  I had to have a table so when I came back from Leadership I looked on Craigs list and found a drop leaf table for $20.00  can you believe it?  Then I needed some chairs to go on either side, so on the way home the following week I stop by Goodwill and out front they had 5 chairs lined up by the door.  I looked closer and you will not believe how much they cost!!!!  $.99 yes you see it right 99 cents each............ wow I can not believe my luck.  

Below is the before the pictures  (on the seat you will see a little white vase sort of thing with my favorite color aqua on the inside (.50) I am putting my business cards in them. I will take a picture later.

This is the table that was already painted sort of a mint green although it looks like yellow here.  Don't you love it.

Jar Savings (Team Meeting today)

Today at our team meeting I gave each demonstrator a jar like this to start throwing their change and money they get from workshops, classes etc in.  Next year 2013 Stampin UP will celebrate their 25th anniversary and we want to be there.  If we start saving now we will have the money to go.  I am excited that my team members want to go and participate, it is so much fun.  I had the idea to make a savings jar for them earlier and then when I saw Shelli Gardner's blog www.soshelli.com where she decorated a container for a beverage and I loved it and knew I had to copy it.  Thanks for looking.

Make and Take for today.  I love this simple card, I saw on Stampin Connection and changed my colors and message.

Happy Valentines Day

This is the Valentine I made for my husband.  I left it next to the coffee pot this morning and after I got to work he called me and told me how much he liked it.  :)  Sweet guy.  


Ok I have tried to enter this crazy bird 6 times and different ways and it seems to want to fly sideways.  I know you are hurting your neck and I am sorry for that but I love the way it turned out for my sweetie.   OK I redid it one more time. Hope you like this fun card.

This is a 2,4,6,8 box we made for a class for Judy and her family members last weekend. What a fun night.  I forgot to put the logo on this but I was afraid it would go sideways too if I changed it.  Yikes I have to figure this out.  Hope you like it.

Yesterday at my friend Ella's workshop I made her this little treat from the new framelits from the Occasions Mini catalog #125598 

I wrapped a snicker's candy bar in the FREE  Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (DSP)  I cut two framelits in basic black and cut and scored and taped together.  I taped it in the middle of the two framelits.  Punched real red hearts and stamp be my valentine from the PS I Love You stamp set and added another heat.  Let me know if you want to have a party and I will make a treat for you.
