Organization and Storage in my stamp room

Over the weekend I was cleaning and creating and organizing my "stuff" so I could find everything without spending my time looking for tools etc. Well I love this old aqua McCoy mixing bowl and I thought what a great place to store my clear mount blocks. I love the look and now I have tons more things to organize. Hope you like the idea, look around at things you love (not necessarily in the craft area of your home - I found this in the kitchen) I just love the clear acrylic against that beautiful blue. Happy Birthday for MIL and SU Leadership Swaps

Tonight I was designing some of my swap pieces for leadership and I was using the coffee table as my work space so I could be in the same room as my husband. He looked at the "mess" on the table and said oh honey can you make a birthday card for my mom and of course I said yes. My First Blog Candy-

Ok this is my first blog candy and I hope you like it. I have been cleaning out my stamp room today and found this cute swap I was in a couple of years ago. This swap was an A-Z monogram (retired sets), a couple letters are missing, a few are plain most are decorated and I have a couple of duplicate letters; these are 6x6 scrapbook pages. This would be a cute set for a child learning the alphabet; or could be used any way you wish. The first person to make a comment on my blog will win. Merry Christmas from our house to yours

While waiting for pictures that my daughter in law took I thought I would blog today with at least a picture of my tree this year. I had camera problems earlier before we opened gifts(so no packages under the tree) the one I did take was fuzzy.

I hope all your wishes came true and you were blessed as we were. This year we were blessed to have my youngest son Eric and his wife Chrissy overnight for Christmas Eve and we had such a wonderful time. One of my best gifts was a trumpet concert from my 10 year old grandson by phone. He has just started taking lessons this year and it was such a treat to hear him play for us. Thank you Jacob. We miss you!
I am so thankful for all that God has given us this year and pray for our troops to come home soon!

Snoopy, in a Charlie Brown Christmas

I have to admit this was the MOST labor intense card I have ever made BUT when I saw it on Carrie Gaskins blog I knew I had to try to make one. Mine is not exactly like hers but close. I did case her idea and my son and grandson are going to love this card. I used all punches except for Merry Christmas from the Loads of Love stamp set. Thank you Carrie for your fabulous inspiration.
