NC DEMOS OCTOBER 2025 BLOG HOP

STACK, CUT, SHUFFLE, CREATE...... This month is all about creating quick and easy cards for Fall/Thanksgiving or Christmas/Holidays that could be used at a Stamp-A-Stack, Card Buffet etc.

You may have hopped over from Tina's blog but if you didn't please go back and check out her post. She always has good ideas.

I worked on fall thank you cards.  This is really a fun way to do a lot of cards quick and easy.  Below are my finished 4 cards.

It's been a while since I used this technique and so glad it was our theme this month.

1- You use 4 pieces of DSP and or coordinating card stock 3.3/4" x 5"

2-Then you layer them on top of each other (cut all 4 pieces at the same time.

3- Cut starting at the top on the 3.3/4" side on the right hand side at 1.1/4" making 2 piles.

4-Turn both piles horizontally and cut at 1-1/4” from the right side along the long 5” side.

5-Start to shuffle, using mine as an example shuffle the top right brown plaid piece to the bottom of that pile.

Next shuffle 2 pieces from the  the small cayjun craze pile on the right hand to the bottom of that pile.

Next shuffle 3 pieces from the pumpkin pile on the left side bottom.

Directions for Assembling

1. Take the top paper from each pile and attach to a piece of 4” x 5 1/4” (I used Very Vanilla ) with all four pieces leaving no space in between. You will have a margin on the outside.

2. Continue attaching the next round of pieces from the tops of the piles to create the second card front and so on till you have all 4 created

3. Attach all the card fronts to card bases.

5. Add punched/die cut layer at the point where all four pieces meet.

6. Stamp your image and layer and add sentiment.

I hope you liked what I created it was a lot of fun and quick and easy.

A little about me.  Some of you may know that I had heel surgery recently, I am going to PT twice a week and trying to get back to normal. At least I no longer have to wear a boot.  :) I'm trying to get back to classes and clubs and other activities.

I am forming a new Sassy Stampers Card Class locally starting in November. It's been a while and my ladies love meeting each month and making fun cards and home decor etc together.  If you live in the Vero Beach Fl area and are interested let me know.  Also if you don't live in my area I will be glad to send you your kits for a Sassy Stampers Club in the mail.

If you have any questions let me know. Frances

NC Demos September Blog Hop

This month's theme is so fun.  "We've Got Your Back"  We are suppose to use background stamps for our cards  and sometimes you know how you read something in a flash and when you finish your project you re-read everything to make sure you have everything they asked for and you got it all wrong?   Well that was me this month.   I did make a background however.   If you came from Tracie's blog I am sure you loved what she created.  If you did not don't forget to circle back to her.

I had heel spur surgery at the end of August and I have been trying to recuperate and do what I am suppose to do but it is not always easy.  This is day one with Nurse Astro by my side. :)

This is my card with my background.

I started out attaching rubber bands to one of my old clear embossing plates by crisscrossing them.

I then slipped a piece of Basic White cardstock under the rubber bands.

Next I stamped over the rubber bands with Garden Green Ink pad

I slipped the card stock from the rubber bands and used a pencil eraser to make dots with Real Red Ink in the white spaces left from the areas the rubber bands were.

I attached this piece of card stock to a Real Red background piece.

I used the labels and Joy and the Holly Leaves from the Holly Jolly Dies.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the rest of our NC Demo's to find out what they created.

NC SU DEMO JULY 2025 BLOG HOP -BIG AND BOLD

This month’s theme, Big & Bold, is all about letting your sentiments shine! I was especially excited to play with the new Party Alphabet Dies—they're perfect for making a strong statement on any card.

I have quite a collection of alphabet die sets—some retired, some current—and honestly, I can’t bring myself to part with any of them! But there’s something extra fun about this set. One of my favorite features is the coordinating Party Banner Die, which adds even more bold flair. I can’t wait to create a full banner with it soon!

For tonight’s project, I made a cheerful card using the negative space from the “H” and “I” dies to spell out a playful “HI.” I hope it brings a smile to your face!

Also, you may have hopped over here from Toni’s blogI’m sure she shared something fabulous and inspiring! If you didn’t come from her blog, be sure to go back and check out her project. You won’t want to miss it!

And one last thing—when I saw these dies in the new rewards system, I knew exactly what I’d be saving my rewards for!

I love using the negative sometimes.  I wanted to let the black card stock show through were I cut out the letters.  I could make a second card by using the part (H I )
